fp articleMake a Stand Pledge

Connswater Homes has signed the Make a Stand Pledge and is committed to take action to support people experiencing domestic abuse.

Domestic abuse is one of the biggest issues we face in society today. For every three victims of domestic abuse, two will be female and one will be male.

A simple look at the scale of domestic abuse – and that’s just the abuse that’s known about – is enough to tell you that the housing sector collectively houses and employs many thousands of people who experience domestic violence. By signing the pledge, Connswater Homes has become a part of the collective effort to end domestic violence.
